GOAIDC full form is Goa Industrial Development Corporation, it is an industrial development corporation, which was constituted under the Industrial Development Corporation Act, 1965 with the objective of promoting industrial development in the states of Goa and Daman. The governance of GOAIDC is vested with its Governing Council, which is chaired by the Government of India. The council comprises representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Steel, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and the Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) concerned with industrial development.
