The J&K SICOP was established in 1975 as a fully owned J&K Government Undertaking under the Indian Companies Act 1956. and has since then promoted the development of more than 1000 small-scale industries in the state. The organization has been instrumental in providing employment to more than 1 lakh people in the state.
The main objective of SICOP is the promotion and development of Small Scale Industries in the State of Jammu & Kashmir.
