Flipkart, which has revolutionized the Indian shopping space, is a B2C company (business-to-consumer model). To bolster its supply chain network, and to cope with increasing customer demands Flipkart has launched 66 new large-scale fulfillment and sortation centers around the country in the last few months. The Walmart-owned company has also expanded its cooperation with local Kirana shops and added over 1,000 delivery hubs to its last-mile delivery capabilities.
Flipkart has nine supply chain facilities in Karnataka, including fulfilment and sortation centers, covering roughly 23 lakh square feet. Recently Flipkart opened its fulfillment center in the West Bengal.
Walmart-owned The addition of four additional facilities to Flipkart’s supply chain network in Haryana, with this expansion in the state, Flipkart currently has 17 fulfillment centers (FCs) spanning across 44 lakh sq. ft. in areas like Binola, Bilaspur, Luhari, Ballabgarh, and Farrukhnagar.
Flipkart has also built warehouses in Ahmedabad and Surat to boost its network in Gujarat. They are scattered across nearly 500,000 square feet.

Requirement of Flipkart Warehouse for Renting your Property as a Warehouse
It has to be a commercial property that you own or have land-use change for warehousing purposes.
The location of the warehouse or said land should be good within city limits.
The approach road should be a minimum of 60 or 80 ft wide.
The warehouse should have a minimum area of 10,000 square feet, it depends on location to location, in some locations minimum requirements can go up to 50000 or 1-2 lac sq.ft.
The roof’s height should not be less than 28-30 feet.
Warehouse Construction should be as per requirement.
The warehouse’s floor should be kept in good condition.
There should be at least two separate washrooms for male and female employees.
The pantry should be kept separate from the rest of the kitchen.
There should be two access and exit points.
