The Government of Uttar Pradesh has set up UPEIDA called “Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority under UP Industrial Area Development Act. 1976, in 2007.

How does UPEIDA work?
UPEIDA is a public sector undertaking that was established in 2007 with the primary objective of developing, operating, and maintaining expressways and allied infrastructure in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The Authority has so far developed and developing approx 2000 kilometers of expressways across Uttar Pradesh.
